Day 8: An Unexpected Path

We’ve been enjoying a warm fall and Day 8 was a beautiful sunny day. We left on our afternoon adventure and drove to Fort Saskatchewan.  I was just going to bring our lunch and find a playground, but as we were trying to find the park, I seen a path in the trees.

As we walked through the wooded area, the kids skipped amongst the crunchy leaves. We came across some unique things to see and explore, be sure to check back soon for a new entry in my Get Back To Nature series.

Day 8 - 1

After we left the trail, we found the playground around the corner.  We had our tuna sandwiches then the girls played on the playground for a little bit before we headed home.

See what we’re up to all month long as we navigate 31 Days to Get Outside and Explore!
